FAQs were updated on 24th September and a new message (2nd October 2025) from Trustees has been uploaded to the consultations page.

Hello, my name is Mrs Waite and I feel excited and privileged to be starting my sixth year at Silver Springs Primary Academy working with your children.  I’m a mum of three children myself and familiar with a lot of the issues we can all face as parents.

My aim is to make sure your child enjoys their education and feels safe, secure, happy and challenged in school.

Contacting Me

If you have any worries or concerns, ideas or questions, please feel free to send me a private message via Dojo, and I will do my best to respond. You can also see me at the door after the school day or arrange a convenient time to speak to me personally.

I look forward to getting to know all my class and their families a lot better over the coming year.

Hello. My name is Mrs Ramsden and I am the Teacher in Y4R.

I’m a proud mum of three and have been part of our wonderful school family since 2017. Teaching here is an absolute joy — I love seeing the children’s faces light up when they learn something new or achieve something they didn’t think they could. Helping every child to learn, grow, and feel confident is at the heart of my teaching. The children are always my first priority, and I’m passionate about creating a happy, supportive classroom where everyone feels valued and inspired to do their best.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me via ClassDojo or catch me on the door at the end of day — I’m always happy to help and work together to support your child’s learning.

We love books!

Engaging children in high quality texts is a priority for us. Take a look at our Reading Spine to find out which texts your child will encounter during their time in Year Four!
