Our wonderful in-house catering team have been cooking up a treat for children this week.

The team have been working wonders on a menu that incorporates our very own bumper crop from our edible garden.

Mr Banham, Catering Manager and Miss Plant, Catering Assistant, prepared the seasonal vegetables with students who also helped to cook up some yummy Pumpkin and Oat Flapjacks.

Our reception class also enjoyed washing the fresh potatoes which were served alongside a marrow stuffed with couscous, mushrooms and cannellini beans.

Principal Deborah Mason said” Organic and home-cooked always tastes better. Our meat free Fridays allow children to try vegetarian alternatives and just having our catering team support with the preparation allows them to understand how you can create something tasty from your very own garden.”
